6 Tips for those interested in a Social Media Marketing Career

Hey there. Some of you knew me by the name "Salma Asks - سلمى تسأل". I used to have a blog with that name since 2010, referring to a silly cartoon character by the same name whose big curiosity has led her to ask all kinds of questions.

After around 5 years with that online persona, I thought my username should evolve into a more developed character, so I changed it to "Salma is searching - سلمى تبحث" which is a bit funny and ironic.

Why I am telling you this? I'm not sure. May be because this

Portrait Photography Project

I'm so inspired by the "Humans of New York" although I've never been to the US before. The idea of the project is to construct a photographic census of New York City through photographing thousands of New Yorkers in their daily lives.

I believe that Cairo is such a vibrant city. Although I hate living here most of the time, I think that starting a project like this will help me to reflect on the city through my eyes, and it'd give the city the chance to reflect itself through my lens! The fact that I have been using professional cameras for a couple of years does not deny that I still have SO much to LEARN, and I hope this will give me great chances to improve my photography skills.

I won't be able to have that goal like HONY of taking 10,000 photographs of Cairenes, due to difficulties of getting a camera since my professional one got stolen in Tahrir couple of months ago, but all I can promise is to keep updating this page as much as I can on a regular basis.
